Overview

Southcoast Health is a leading healthcare provider in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of well-being. We are seeking a talented Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team.

This role will provide athletic training outreach services at a local college and support our clinics in Dartmouth and Fall River. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing injury prevention and treatment services, as well as supporting the Employee & Occupational Health Departments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training outreach services at contracted high schools
  • Support the Occupational Health Clinic
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Employee Health and Ergonomics to develop and implement injury prevention programs
  • Conduct assessments and provide treatment for injuries and illnesses
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges and high schools to promote athletic training services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field
  • BOC certification
  • Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to utilize equipment such as laptops and digital cameras
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
