Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to fill the position of Teacher/Athletic Trainer in the Rock Hill School District 3. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in a secondary content area and certification as an athletic trainer from the National Athletic Trainer Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in a secondary content area, utilizing effective instructional techniques and technology integration.
  • Provide athletic training services to students, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies and develop innovative lesson plans.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
Requirements
  • SC certification in a secondary content area required.
  • Certification as an athletic trainer from the National Athletic Trainer Association.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of effective instructional and student evaluation techniques.
  • Experience working with students of appropriate age and skill level preferred.
  • Skill in using instructional technology and integrating it into the curriculum.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
  • Satisfactory SLED report.
