About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Gujarati Language Specialist to join our team at KACE. As a Gujarati Language Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide high-quality language services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform real-time transcriptions of sensitive material from Gujarati to English
  • Collect, analyze, identify, and decode colloquialisms and slang terms
  • Extract pertinent information and communicate it to law enforcement agents
  • Transcribe source documents and recordings from storage media
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in a professional setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one year of transcription experience in Gujarati
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • US citizenship or permanent residency
  • Knowledge of Gujarati colloquial terms and expressions
  • Knowledge of SMS language, social media, and Webchat
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Gujarati, including correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to meet contract requirements for language proficiency
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
  • Employees will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Employees may be asked to work during emergency situations, including inclement weather and natural disasters
Security Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Successfully passing a background investigation, medical, and drug screen
