Job Summary

As a key member of the Elliott Electric Supply team, the Warehouse Associate - Inventory Management will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our South Austin location. This position is responsible for providing exceptional order and delivery services, ensuring the warehouse is maintained in a safe and organized manner, and receiving inventory accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and check incoming shipments, maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Receive inventory from vendors, customers, or other locations, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
  • Fulfill orders for spools and wire shipments within a timely manner, adhering to safety standards.
  • Ensure shipments of wire are cut to order and meet safety requirements.
  • Perform assigned housekeeping tasks and carry out duties assigned by management.
Requirements

A high school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess basic math skills, reasoning skills, and the ability to read orders and match them to shipping tickets. Additionally, they should be able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.

Physical Requirements

This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe manner. The candidate must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, withstand extreme temperatures, and spend a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
