Job Summary:

We are seeking a Night Order Selector to join our team in our distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within our establishment. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and store materials, tools, equipment, and products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department and prepare for shipping.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Assist in billing process.
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers by location.
  • Use computer to enter records.
  • Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
