Key Responsibilities
Role Summary:
Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC duties, while installing and repairing equipment and maintaining facilities as assigned.
Core Duties:
- Install, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on various systems according to specifications and schedules.
- Maintain and repair air handlers, exhaust systems, patient equipment, and other essential machinery.
- Inspect and repair plumbing systems, including pipes and fixtures.
- Construct and maintain furniture and building structures.
- Calculate material requirements for assigned projects.
- Perform various HVAC service tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
- Be available for emergency and on-call duties.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times.
- Promote excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by training in plumbing, HVAC, or a related field.
Licensure/Certification:
Must hold a valid license from the appropriate regulatory body.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a related field.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to interpret sketches and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment and plumbing issues.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
