Job Summary

The Athletic Equipment Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects related to the procurement, storage, distribution, fitting, and maintenance of athletic gear, uniforms, and equipment for the UWG Football program.

Required Qualifications
  • Current enrollment as a student at the University of West Georgia, with a minimum of six credit hours and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
  • Proficient understanding of sports equipment and apparel utilized in football.
  • Experience in adjusting and repairing sports gear, maintaining inventory records, and adhering to inventory control protocols.
  • Ability to lift athletic equipment weighing up to 50 pounds may be required for some positions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with sports equipment and apparel used in at least two major sports such as football, basketball, or soccer.
  • Basic knowledge of supervisory practices.

Physical Requirements
