Nursing Assistant/PCA

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Associate to join our team in the Emergency Department at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs, as well as responding to the needs of patients and family members and taking a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.
To qualify for this role, you must have certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience. Previous ESA/PCA experience is also required. Nursing students who have completed their fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component are also encouraged to apply. Bi-lingual skills are preferred, and knowledge of medical terminology is a must.
