Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Software Engineering, to lead our Ecommerce team at Taco Bell. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for building high-quality, customer-facing Android applications using cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise in code quality, design, and efficiency will be essential in solving complex challenges at a massive scale.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled software engineers to build high-quality Android applications.
  2. Understand and practice agile software development in a product-mode organization.
  3. Deliver major technology initiatives on clear timelines and work closely with product management to manage scope and deliverables.
  4. Participate in communities of practice to foster technical excellence throughout the organization.
  5. Collaborate with recruiting to lead recruiting efforts and shape the future of our software engineering organization.
Requirements

For this role, we require:

  • A BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • At least 8+ years of experience working in leadership capacities in software engineering, with specific experience leading teams building high-traffic, customer-facing Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
  • Experience with AWS managed services and serverless technologies is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Proven ability to attract top talent, build high-performing teams, and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $140,900 and $190,000, depending on location, experience, and other factors.
