Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Inventory Control: Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, and ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Team Leadership: Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensures Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communication: Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provides progress updates.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership Skills: Capable of multi-tasking, and able to train others.
  • Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
