Emergency Management Specialist: Response Cadre

Hagerty Consulting is seeking highly skilled Emergency Management Specialists to join our Response Cadre. As a member of this team, you will provide critical support to our clients during emergency situations, working closely with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the successful completion of client incident objectives
- Coordinate with partner agencies and ESFs
- Deploy on short notice to a state or local Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and/or at a field site
- Work 12-hour shifts as needed based on client operational tempo
Requirements:
- At least five (5) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to provide summary products for leadership
- Willingness to be on-site working with a client for more than one month
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience researching complex issues and presenting outcomes and insights to a supervisor or large audience
- Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or as part of an Incident Management Team (IMT)
