Job Summary:

The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. As an hourly Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with systemic mastocytosis and mast cell activation syndromes, angioedema associated with inherited and acquired forms of C1inh deficiency, and hypereosinophilic syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide treatment to patients with systemic mastocytosis and mast cell activation syndromes, angioedema associated with inherited and acquired forms of C1inh deficiency, and hypereosinophilic syndrome in approximately one clinic per week.

Requirements:

Board certification in Allergy, Immunology and in Internal Medicine.

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Must have demonstrated both scholarly and clinical abilities through patient care, teaching and clinical research.
