Key Responsibilities

  • Document data and collaborate with management and department leads to optimize production processes.
  • Inspect products using metrology equipment, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Load and unload machines according to cycle times, ensuring efficient production.
  • Determine when tools and wheels need replacement, maintaining equipment to optimal performance.
  • Assist in determining tooling and fixturing needs, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect problems, making necessary adjustments to correct issues.
  • Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications and operational sequences.
  • Produce assigned parts to specifications, meeting performance standards.
  • Maintain equipment according to daily and weekly schedules, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, assisting in identifying and correcting issues.
  • Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of work assignments.
  • Possess strong self-motivation, drive, and take initiative to reach goals and target assignments.
  • Identify and address safety concerns, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a US citizen or a US permanent resident.
  • Minimum three (3) years of CNC experience required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Prior experience with operation of high-speed, manual, or semi-automatic production machinery.
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Must have strong math skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Basic tool, machine operator, and blueprint reading knowledge.
  • Proficient in measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, comparator, and all hand tools.
  • Familiar with G & M codes.
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • Holding tight tolerances of between.001" -.005".
  • Acts in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of work assignments.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and conduct that conforms to MagSeal values and culture.
  • Assures all work is processed in a swift and timely fashion with high-quality results.
  • Possess strong self-motivation, drive, and takes initiative to reach goals and target assignments.
