Green Solar Systems, LLC is a locally owned and operated PV Solar firm based in the Western United States. We are dedicated to providing top-notch solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, municipal & industrial clients.
Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Electricians to join our team for renewable energy projects. As a PV Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with current NEC and local codes.
Responsibilities
- Installation of Solar Energy Systems: Interconnect solar arrays to the grid for residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical work performed meets high standards and complies with current regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues affecting solar energy systems.
- Main Panel Upgrades (MPU): Safely plan and complete upgrades to main panels.
- System Upgrades/Repairs: Collaborate with the design team to fulfill necessary system upgrades or repairs.
- Local Requirements: Work with local inspectors to meet regulatory requirements.
- Battery and Generator Installation: Install backup batteries and whole home generators as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ordering equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining company vehicles.
- Taking photos of completed work.
O&M - Utility Scale PV Solar Power Plants
- O&M Operations: Perform routine maintenance on utility-scale PV solar power plants.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site managers and engineers.
- Representative Role: Positively represent the company, its mission, and values.
- Operations and Maintenance: Responsible for assigned aspects of plant operations and maintenance.
- AC and DC Solar Systems: Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC solar PV systems.
- Schedule Adherence: Meet personal safety, quality, and schedule targets.
