Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist Care Guide is a vital member of the OSF HealthCare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers with front office and back office duties, including patient registration, payment collection, and rooming.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, perform x-rays, and discharge patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Act as a patient advocate, providing continuous support and companionship to patients and their families throughout the care process.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient flow and maximum clinical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiography or related field.
  • Current licensure with IEMA and ARRT registry eligibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA.
  • Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty and medical terminology.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
