Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, utilizing proper patient position, identification, and exposure techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
  • Operates and maintains equipment within the modality
  • Reviews and analyzes patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology
  • Assists physicians with various procedures
  • Maintains related records and notations

Requirements:

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology
  • Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Work Environment:

This position is based at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center and will float to other areas in the region as needed. Assignments will be made with consideration of driving distance from home location.
