Key Responsibilities
  • The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring safe patient care delivery for various patient demographics.
  • The RN evaluates patient and family needs, formulates and prioritizes care objectives, assesses care delivery, and continuously adjusts the care plan to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and their families.
  • The RN delegates responsibilities as appropriate to enhance patient outcomes.
  • The RN complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas RN Licensure.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire.
  • Telemetry, ICU, and PCU roles require ACLS certification, while Post-Surgical roles necessitate Chemotherapy certification, to be completed within the first year of employment.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Specific certifications must be obtained within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • A minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment.
