Position Overview:
As a Senior Costing Analyst, you will support the Cost Accountant in planning, analyzing, and gathering data to assess the costs associated with business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in month-end closing processes related to product costing.
2. Simulate estimated product costs in conjunction with productivity initiatives.
3. Analyze actual manufacturing expenses and generate monthly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
4. Prepare monthly variance and scrap analyses.
5. Conduct audits of costs and compile reports.
6. Perform physical inventories and oversee the cycle count program.
7. Support various ad hoc projects and reporting requirements.
8. Advise fixed asset requestors on appropriate timelines for capitalizing fixed assets, useful life, and related matters.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Proficiency in SAP is essential; familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate strong data analysis capabilities and attention to detail.
A self-motivated, adaptable individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal) are necessary.
