Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in New York. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical repairs and maintenance on crushing and screening equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on crushing and screening equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain proper tool and parts inventory for specified jobs
  • Complete maintenance projects in a timely manner to ensure production goals
  • Ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to manufacturer standards
Requirements
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or certification in electrical maintenance
  • 2 years prior maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical work
  • Some welding experience desired
  • Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus
  • MSHA Part 48 training a plus
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, squat, and perform repetitive motions
  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Work in confined spaces and wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
