Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in New York. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our crushing and screening equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical repair and maintenance tasks, including disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of equipment components.
  • Maintain proper tool and parts inventory for specified jobs.
  • Complete maintenance projects in a timely manner to ensure production goals.
  • Ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school GED or diploma required.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or certification strongly preferred.
  • Prefer 2 years prior maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical work.
  • Some welding experience desired.
  • Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus.
  • MSHA Part 48 training a plus.
Work Environment:
  • Work availability: Be available to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.
  • Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, use of wrists, use of feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, perform duties in all climates, tolerate heights, lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, capable of wearing respiratory and other personal protective equipment.
