At Actalent, we are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks to support the development and production of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing and Quality Control
Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.
Instrument Operation and MaintenanceOperate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Problem Solving and Data AnalysisSupport daily management of processes and products, including assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.
Equipment Maintenance and TroubleshootingUse automated and manual lab equipment, including liquid handlers (Janice Machines and Hamilton Stars), and perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Associates Degree in Science required, with laboratory experience. Bachelor's Degree in Life Science preferred.
Skills and QualificationsLaboratory, Biology, pipetting, Quality control, Data entry, Chemistry, LIMS.
