We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area.
- Responsible for the proper use of RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams).
- Responsible for all other equipment used in MR (e.g. monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment (where applicable) and any other devices/equipment used in MRI).
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to pediatric adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Radiology School.
- Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role desirable.
- American Registration of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (MR) certification OR License, Certificates, or Registrations Preferred: Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Certification from Texas Department of Health.
