Senior Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview:

Genesis Healthcare System is looking for a dedicated advanced practice nurse to become a vital part of our primary care clinic. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with physicians specializing in family or internal medicine to deliver comprehensive and preventive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Your role will encompass performing health assessments, managing illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing necessary medications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and physical evaluations
• Deliver primary healthcare services as per schedule
• Collaborate with physicians in patient care
• Execute routine outpatient medical procedures
• Prescribe and oversee medication regimens
• Ensure seamless continuity of patient care
• Engage in quality assurance activities
• Maintain expertise in your specialty area
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduation from an accredited APRN training program
• Valid RN and APRN licenses in Ohio
• Certificate of authority and prescribing certification
• Preferred experience in Family or Internal Medicine
• Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, or PALS
