Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Coordinator to join our team at the Utah County Security Center and the Meals On Wheels Program for senior citizens. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of meals, training and instructing inmate workers, and ensuring the safety and security of the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with or oversee the preparation of meals for inmates and senior citizens
  • Train and instruct inmate workers in food preparation and kitchen processes
  • Monitor inmate work and behavior to ensure a safe and secure kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of professional food service work experience
  • Completed education or training in Nutritional Science or Culinary Arts may substitute for the experience requirement
