Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team of over 100 employees. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of medications and medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications and medical supplies in accordance with pharmacy protocols and physician orders.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on proper use of medication.
  • Resolving patient concerns and complaints.
  • Manage workflow and ensure proper follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Offer clinical decision support and drug information for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct patient profile monitoring and perform drug utilization review monitoring as necessary.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians, drivers, and other department personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts with license in good standing.
  • 1+ years of retail or long-term care experience required; 2+ years of retail or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Immunization certification via accredited organization.
  • QS1 software experience preferred.
Work Environment

The employee is regularly required to stand for periods of time. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
