Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV/VTC Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a newly awarded program with critical deliverables and milestones.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, wiring, and maintaining AV/VTC systems, including projectors, video conferencing hardware, and other equipment. They will also be required to gather Intel around current state, speak with end users, and provide recommendations for new best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and maintain AV/VTC systems, including projectors, video conferencing hardware, and other equipment.
  2. Gather Intel around current state, speak with end users, and provide recommendations for new best practices.
  3. Interpret electronic schematics, architectural blueprints, and hardware fabrication.
  4. Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve program objectives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience as an AV/VTC Technician installing & wiring system components.
  • 2+ years experience utilizing hands & power tools to solder, crimp, and terminate cat 5,6 cable and other AV systems components.
  • Proven experience interpreting electronic schematics, architectural blueprints, and hardware fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a disciplined, mission-first environment.
Working Environment

This role will be based at Fort Gordon, working full-time in a typical Army installation. The successful candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet tall, and work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
