El Supervisor de Operaciones gestiona las operaciones generales de la tienda y el logro de los objetivos y directrices de la empresa.
Deberes y Responsabilidades Esenciales
Servicio al Cliente
Proporcionar una representación positiva de Westlake Ace Hardware. Asistir proactivamente a los clientes en la resolución de problemas. Saludar a los clientes al entrar y durante su estancia en la tienda. Agradecer a los clientes al finalizar su visita. Mantener una actitud amigable y accesible; trabajar bien con clientes y asociados. Asegurarse de que todas las llamadas y páginas sean respondidas de manera oportuna y cortés. Manejar las quejas de los clientes, buscando resolver problemas mientras se considera el mejor interés de Westlake. Garantizar un ambiente de trabajo positivo, profesional y seguro para todos los asociados. Supervisar las operaciones generales de la tienda. Ser responsable de la apertura y cierre de la tienda. Asistir en la implementación de programas del Centro de Soporte de Tiendas. Asegurar el éxito en la Prevención de Pérdidas, Seguridad y Auditorías Internas. Colaborar con el Gerente General y el Asistente de Gerente - Merchandising en todos los aspectos de la gestión de la tienda. Participar en reuniones semanales del personal de gestión. Comunicar problemas al departamento correspondiente del Centro de Soporte de Tiendas con la aprobación del Gerente General. Asistir en proyectos especiales dentro del distrito según lo establecido por el Gerente de Distrito. Implementar nuevos Procedimientos Operativos Estándar en la ejecución de la tienda. Ayudar en el mantenimiento diario, orden y limpieza de la sala de ventas, el almacén y las áreas de mercancía al aire libre. Asegurarse de que los cambios de precios semanales y las actualizaciones de etiquetas se realicen de manera oportuna y precisa. Supervisar todas las funciones de caja, incluyendo capacitación, mantenimiento, auditorías e informes. Gestionar y dirigir el mantenimiento preventivo y las reparaciones para maximizar y proteger todos los activos físicos (edificio, mobiliario y equipo). Visitar la competencia para familiarizarse con sus prácticas. Realizar otras tareas según se asignen.Inventario y Merchandising
Asistir para garantizar que las operaciones de montacargas y recepción se realicen de manera segura y eficiente. Asegurarse de que la recepción, verificación y almacenamiento de mercancías se adhiera a las mejores prácticas y Procedimientos Operativos Estándar. Ser responsable del mantenimiento de los niveles de inventario de respaldo. Asegurarse de que los conteos cíclicos y los informes de inventario negativo se completen de manera oportuna y precisa. Asistir en la ordenación y mantenimiento de niveles de inventario de productos deseables para asegurar disponibilidad y rentabilidad de la tienda. Colaborar en la reconfiguración de mercancías en toda la tienda. Asegurarse de que toda la señalización en la tienda esté actualizada. Ayudar a presentar un piso de ventas limpio y ordenado, incluyendo extremos de pasillo y merchandising promocional.Contratación y Capacitación de Asociados
Asistir en la capacitación de todos los asociados. Reclutar activamente y promover el avance de los asociados de Westlake Ace. Asistir en la contratación, capacitación, programación, revisión, recompensa y coaching de los Jefes de Caja y Cajeros con la aprobación del Gerente General.Liderazgo
Gestionar todos los aspectos de las operaciones de la tienda en ausencia del Gerente General. Liderar con el ejemplo; ser accesible para todos los asociados y clientes. Participar en reuniones de la tienda. Comunicar cualquier idea de merchandising, control de costos o ventas al Gerente General para su seguimiento.
