Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate veterinary assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organization where your contributions will directly impact the success and growth of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians in the care and treatment of emergency cases
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and blood work
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and alert the DVMs and technicians if there are abnormal findings
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the emergency clinic
  • Restock and organize medical supplies and equipment
  • Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners during stressful situations
Requirements
  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • 1 year experience in an animal hospital (preferred)
