Job Opportunity

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide inpatient nutrition care in a 22-bed level III NICU and the inpatient pediatrics floor at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in the NICU and pediatric units
  • Be well-versed in the Pediatric Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification
  • Attend daily NICU rounds
  • Work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage
  • Serve as a mentor to other RDs, providing support and training on pediatric/neonatal standards of care
  • Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
  • Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric/NICU experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support (CNSC) required or willing to obtain within six months of hire
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
