Job Overview

The Swift Group is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer 2 to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

This role involves identifying points of vulnerability in non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, recommending mitigation strategies, and validating and verifying system security requirements and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system security design process, engineering lifecycle, and information domain, with experience in cross-domain solutions, commercial off-the-shelf, authentication and authorization system integration, risk management, intrusion detection, contingency planning, configuration control, auditing, and security testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as an ISSE.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline to include: Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineer, or a related discipline.
  • DOD M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required and CISSP is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
