Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our project teams and ensure the successful delivery of complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or construction management and a proven track record of managing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Review and resolve technical specifications and drawings to ensure that they meet the project requirements.
  • Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between the company and the owner.
  • Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an on-time result and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Create bill of materials and review quotations to ensure that they meet the project requirements.
  • Determine the possibility of conflicts or delays in the construction process and suggest preventative steps for correction.
  • Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting's closing process.
  • Manage subcontractors and change orders on project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in within a construction firm.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Goal oriented – able to set goals and achieve them.
  • Interpersonal – able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels.
