Job Description
Your IT Recruiter is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team.

This position will be working as a Platform Engineer for one of our top clients, John Deere, located in Moline, IL. This role requires technical expertise in cloud web application design and development.

The candidate will be responsible for helping the team move towards infrastructure as a code.

Work with the team's Infrastructure Engineers to find innovative ways to focus on creating a Digital Workspace Platform to be consumed by other Infrastructure Engineers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and integrate/deploy highly complex software solutions leveraging DevOps concepts
  • Experience with Rest APIs
  • 2+ years of experience in relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Apache HBase) databases

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with Git
  • 2+ years of experience using scripting languages (Javascript, Python, PowerShell)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ex: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Salt)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and identifying areas for innovation
