Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and interacting with customers.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
