About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
  • Auditing: Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
  • Financial Planning: Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
  • Financial Compliance: Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • CPA or MBA required.
  • Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Proven experience with EHR, Dynamics, Great Plains, Payroll, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Reconciliations, Record Entry, Month End, Reporting, Financial Analysis, Income Statement, Healthcare Accounting, and Balance Sheet.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A multi-tasker with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
