Job Summary

The Project Controls Analyst II is a key member of the BRPH team, responsible for providing project control support to Business unit leaders and project managers. This role requires strong costing, planning, and scheduling skills, as well as excellent communication skills to support BRPH's project operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze project costs, including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts.
• Investigate causes of variances between estimated, committed, and actual amounts and recommend solutions or recovery plans.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) and ensure effective use of project coding and correct project task and cost allocation.
• Provide project analysis using earned value methodologies on designated projects.
• Develop familiarity with industry contracting and measure progress and review performance trends for management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, engineering, construction, business, or a related field from an accredited university with minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Associates degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills with a developing knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint.
• Ability to develop and provide training within the operations organization.
• Possesses strong business acumen and ability to work toward alignment of customer and company objectives.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to express ideas, exercise sound judgment, and effectively listen.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with other organizations and pursue self-development through on-the-job training and asking questions.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures and ability to apply them in performance of responsibilities.
