Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of store appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by determining customer needs, answering product questions, and making recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of cash handling and customer service skills.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and equipment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, and assist with making deliveries as needed.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
