Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at Nemak. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation System Design and Implementation: Design and implement automation systems to meet manufacturing objectives, including tooling, controls, and equipment.
  • Process Optimization: Implement methods, processes, or control changes to systems to reduce costs, improve quality, and expand manufacturing capabilities.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and maintenance personnel to solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Equipment Design Review: Participate in equipment and automation design review from a systems design perspective.
  • Standards Development: Support standardization initiatives by specifying and purchasing similar controls equipment and components.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in manufacturing.
  • Skills: Experience in PLC's, Robotics (Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens), Visual Display, (HMI/Client Devices).
