Each role within our organization plays a vital part in our ability to make a positive difference in the world. As an Environmental Planner 2, you'll be part of a collaborative team that works across various business sectors, including transportation, energy, and development. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze technical studies, including environmental impact assessments and permitting documents.

  • Recommend mitigation commitments and prepare technical reports, including Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) studies.
  • Collect, assimilate, and manage data, including GIS mapping, research, and interviews with government agencies and clients.
  • Support environmental project managers in project pursuits and delivery through proposal preparation, project meetings, and tracking project progress.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional technical writing skills and at least five years of experience with NEPA documentation or technical report development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on project teams and diverse technical teams.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients and project stakeholders.
  • Experience with GIS or CAD software and graphics development experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to accept internal and external feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of five years of environmental experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and research abilities.

We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where every employee-owner feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work every day.
