- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to the State of Ohio Nursing Practice Act and Mercy Health policies.
- Provide leadership and coaching to staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes job satisfaction, education, and empowerment.
- Assess and maintain staffing levels to optimize productivity and patient care needs.
- Communicate job standards and expectations, leading regular meetings with employees and promoting effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current nursing license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute environment.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
