About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Director to join our team at the Community Clinic of Maui, Inc. dba Malama I Ke Ola Health Center. This is a key leadership position that will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management and leadership, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders.

Job Summary

This full-time position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing all aspects of finance, including financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. The Chief Financial Director will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
  3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and direction to the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in financial management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, report generation, and data analysis.

Based on industry standards and taking into account the location, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000-$150,000 per year.
