Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Medical Technologist or MLT to join our team. This is a part-time, PRN position that requires flexibility to work weekends and weekdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and oversee various laboratory tests and procedures as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Meet the minimum qualifications for the position, including ASCP or AMT certification and a bachelor's degree in biological science.
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Bachelor's degree in biological science
- Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLS program within the last 5 years
- Or, MLT(ASCP) certification and 2 years of full-time acceptable laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada, or an accredited laboratory
- Or, CLA (ASCP) certification and a bachelor's degree in a biological science, with 4 years of full-time acceptable experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada, or an accredited laboratory
- Or, 5 years of full-time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada, or an accredited laboratory
