CT Scan Technologist

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques.
Responsibilities- Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
- Demonstrate knowledge of routine and non-routine CT exams and apply those principles to obtain high-quality images based upon the patient's age, habitus, and/or disease process.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure, reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
- Provide safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
- Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services where indicated.
- Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- N.J. DEP licensure required.
- Advanced level ARRT certification in CT scan technology preferred.
