Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Physical Plant Manager or Maintenance Director in a skilled nursing environment.
  • Proven experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety for a skilled nursing facility.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
