About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Substance Use Specialist to join our team at Open Sky Community Services. As a key member of our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals with mental health challenges and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enroll, screen, assess, and reassess individuals for substance use, addiction risk, and addiction treatment needs.
  • Develop and facilitate clinical and support groups based on the needs and preferences of individuals served.
  • Cultivate mutually respectful partnerships with individuals served and family members, setting appropriate limits and maintaining a helping role.
  • Coordinate with Care Coordination Entities and other providers to ensure access to addiction services and related issues.
  • Provide direct interventions and supports to individuals based on their stage of treatment or stage of change using evidence-based and promising treatment practices.
Requirements
  • LADC I, LADC II, or CADC certification required.
  • Experience working with adults with mental health challenges, emotional disturbance, and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

We offer a competitive compensation model, with salaries ranging from $49,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on licensure and experience. Additionally, we provide free CEU's and paid licensure reimbursement, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
