We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Substance Use Specialist to join our team at Open Sky Community Services. As a key member of our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals with mental health challenges and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Enroll, screen, assess, and reassess individuals for substance use, addiction risk, and addiction treatment needs.
- Develop and facilitate clinical and support groups based on the needs and preferences of individuals served.
- Cultivate mutually respectful partnerships with individuals served and family members, setting appropriate limits and maintaining a helping role.
- Coordinate with Care Coordination Entities and other providers to ensure access to addiction services and related issues.
- Provide direct interventions and supports to individuals based on their stage of treatment or stage of change using evidence-based and promising treatment practices.
- LADC I, LADC II, or CADC certification required.
- Experience working with adults with mental health challenges, emotional disturbance, and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
As a Clinical Substance Use Specialist at Open Sky Community Services, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental health challenges and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. We offer a competitive compensation model, with salaries ranging from $49,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on licensure and experience. Additionally, we provide free CEU's and paid licensure reimbursement, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
