Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our pharmacy operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication lists.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Provide education and training to staff on new medications, treatments, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Experience in a managed care or health insurance setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and pharmacy software.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data analysis.
