Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a key member of our virtual education team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to students in a remote learning setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals, focusing on enhancing functional skills and participation in academic and social activities.
- Deliver teletherapy sessions using evidence-based interventions and virtual tools to address students' occupational therapy needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environment, providing strategies and accommodations to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed, using data-driven decision-making to ensure effective outcomes.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals in remote learning settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Recent experience working as an occupational therapist in a school setting.
