Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and care. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs and goals of patients.
- Work closely with patients and their families to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in educational instruction with patients and their families to promote understanding and empowerment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association preferred and approved by the State of Washington Occupational Therapy Examining Committee; Advanced degree or training preferred.
- Active, or eligible to obtain, Washington state Occupational Therapist license.
- One year acute care experience preferred.
- One year of outpatient care experience preferred.
- Able to evaluate and provide care across the age continuum from infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, young, to middle-aged adults and geriatric patients.
- Preferred EMR/EHR experience.
