Accountant Job Description

Fast Growing Entertainment company is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Oversee Inter-Company transactions and reconcile inter-company accounts.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and provide analysis to management.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and General Ledger accounting.
  • Experience with Inter-Company transactions and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, 401k Match, 2 weeks vacation, Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance, and Ongoing Growth Opportunities.
