Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Hospice Of Hope, Inc. as an Inpatient Center Night Shift RN. This is a full-time position, working three shifts per week with rotating weekends, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, using clinical tools and data to inform care decisions.
  • Individualized Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized plans of care, taking into account patient goals and preferences.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their caregivers on benefits, services, and resources available to support their care.
  • Documentation and Communication: Accurately document complex medical information and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Care and Compliance: Ensure quality care processes are followed, in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure, or eligibility to be licensed, in Kentucky and Ohio. At least one year of experience in a patient care position in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility is preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess empathy, responsibility, and dependability, with effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to arrange travel, access client homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and other facilities independently, and demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment and observe universal precautions.
