Nurse Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Hospice of Hope. As a Hospice Aide, you will provide high-quality care and assistance to terminally ill patients in our inpatient center.

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, toileting, and maintaining hygiene
• Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating and mobility
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide course and registration
• At least one year of experience in a patient care position in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Personal qualities of empathy, responsibility, and dependability

This is a full-time position, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including night shifts and weekends. You must be able to access patient rooms and facilities independently and demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment.
